Managing devices end-to-end
Once in service, devices remain under Bamboo Connect’s care through our managed service solutions. We monitor performance, security and lifecycle milestones so that assets remain safe, compliant and productive for users.
Our systems alert clients when equipment approaches replacement, allowing upgrades that balance performance with sustainability. This avoids premature disposal of serviceable hardware while preventing outdated devices from becoming security risks.

Recovery, refurbishment and second life
When equipment reaches the end of its first life, Bamboo Connect manages recovery and reconditioning. Devices are collected, inspected and tested through accredited facilities. Viable units are refurbished with OEM parts, given cosmetic rework and securely wiped of all data before being redeployed or resold through controlled channels.
On average, each refurbished device avoids up to 73kilograms of CO₂ compared with manufacturing new hardware, while returning residual value to the client. By keeping technology in use for longer, we reduce demand for new production and significantly cut e-waste.

Secure disposal and certified recycling
Not every device can be reused, but every device can be managed responsibly. Our recycling and asset disposal services ensure that end-of-life equipment is processed to the highest environmental and data-security standards.
All assets are wiped using military-grade erasure methods. Where data cannot be securely removed, the component is physically destroyed before recycling. Materials are separated for recovery and logged at IMEI or serial level, creating a verifiable chain of custody from collection to recycling.
Clients receive certificates confirming each device’s outcome – reuse, component recovery or environmentally compliant disposal – providing auditable proof for ESG reporting and sustainability statements.
